Hi Tom – Yes we do have other payment options. We have many members from all over the world whom we have to be flexible with for payment.

One option we can offer you is signing up to a 6 month or 12 month subscription, and paying via bank transfer. This option makes sense if the only way you can make payment is via a bank transfer. Since there are usually heavy fees involved with making a bank transfer, often being more than the cost of one month’s membership; we have allowed for a member to sign up for a longer subscription so that it is more cost effective for them. You can enquire about this option through our Contact Us form.

You are in a very specialised field, as a Geotechnical Lab Technician, and we have not seen jobs in that field advertised with sponsorship in the past several months. However, being so specialised, you may have success approaching suitable companies directly for sponsorship. I hope you made use of the job search tools, such as the LinkedIn Strategy for Job Search, Job Sponsorship Tracking Sheet and case studies whilst you had access to them, as they will assist you in your search.

There is always a chance of finding a sponsor, so long as you take all the necessary steps. Our suggestion is: if you don’t see any suitable jobs being advertised in the Premium Section, make use of the job search tools and case studies and learn as much as you can from those about how to approach employers. We’ll also soon be publishing a database of companies who have sponsored in the past so that Premium Members can contact these direct.

Hi admin, my name is Susana (POrtuguese) and I’m lokking (about +/- 6 months from now) for sponsoring jobs in Australia, I had a Degree of Urban and Regional Planner but my work experience is almost in my Post-Graduate in Occupational Health and Safety Manager (almost 5 years experience).I wondered if there sponsored jobs in this area, if it is worth seeking work sponsored or whether I should go in a different way to emigrate to Australia. Can you clarify me in this subject?

Hi Susana – we have seen some jobs in Health & Safety offering employer sponsorship in Australia, so you may have a chance there. You may also qualify as an Urban Planner under State Sponsorship or even General Skilled Migration. My advice is to have a professional assessment with a registered Australian migration agent. You can book an assessment with one of our reputable migration agents by clicking here.

Hi Camille – Yes, we have registered Australian migration agents who are available when required for visa assistance. Sometimes employers also have their own migration agents that they use. Please note though that although some employers cover the costs of the migration, quite often you will need to cover your portion of the fees. If you would like to book a professional assessment with one of our qualified migration agents to determine your visa options or whether you do qualify for employer sponsorship, you may do so by clicking here.

Hi Rebecca – you should view this article to determine whether you first qualify for 457 visas sponsorship:, as it may be that you not qualify, or that only one of you qualifies. If you determine that one of you qualifies, then you should focus on finding employment for that person, and you can both apply on the same application once sponsorship has been found. In our experience, trades people find sponsorship most easily, however, the competition is fierce for those in carpentry professions, so you need to ensure that you are setting yourself apart from other applicants. This site should help: We will shortly also be launching a training program for finding employer sponsorship in Australia, so encourage you to stay connected to Sponsorship Australia.

Hi Shiva – my advice is to first determine whether you qualify for sponsorship by clicking here. If you determine that you qualify, you should then create an Australian job sponsorship strategy for yourself and sign up for the job alerts on this page so that you may apply as soon as a suitable position becomes available. Your job search strategy should focus considerably on the hidden job market. Premium Members to this site will have access to our recruitment partners who often have hospitality positions available with sponsorship, particularly for chefs at this point in time.
